SAYING GOOD BYE TO LLOYD SMALE

It is with great sadness that we say good bye to one of our dearest and most passionate presenter, Lloyd Smale.

Lloyd lost his battle with cancer on Monday 23rd September 2019 while in hospital.

Lloyd started with Alive 90.5 in 2013 as an observer and went on to be a presenter, station manager and Chairman. He worked tirelessly to assist in many areas giving up a lot of his time. He was always available to fill in when needed on air or when systems went down. He was a good trainer and understood how important it was to have good sound.

His death came far too quickly after being diagnosed in early 2019 with cancer.

Thank you to a number of Lloyd’s friends of Alive 90.5 who regularly visited him in Hospital. He will be missed.
