NEMBC Media

The NEMBC has operated four different multilingual news services. From a nationwide launch in May 2020, these services expanded into Victoria in September 2020 and New South Wales in 2022. A notable milestone was the establishment of the Multilingual National News (MNN) service in 2022, with support from the Meta Australian Public Interest Journalism Fund under the Walkley Foundation.

The NEMBC is the peak organisation representing ethnic community broadcasters across Australia. The NEMBC advocates for multiculturalism and media diversity and helps people connect to and maintain their language, culture and identity.
