Latif Ismail is a multi-talented graphic designer/illustrator from Singapore who came to Australia in the late 1990s. He is fluent in Bahasa Melayu, Indonesian and Mandarin coming from his Chindian Bugis Heritage. He plays Malaysian drums and percussion. He is a trained Malay martial artist (Silat) and a Malaysian chef. He honours the Malay culture and heritage and upholds the language from his archipelago.
