Baulkham Hills Stockland Confirms COVID-19 Employee
Written by Elliot Nash on 21 July 2020
An employee of Miller’s clothing Baulkham Hills has tested positive to COVID-19 prompting the immediate closure of the store.
The employee was reportedly working in store on on Sunday 12th July, and for two hours on Tuesday 14th July, before developing symptoms.
NSW Health has advised that this case presents a low risk of possible further transmission for anyone who has had less than 15 minutes direct contact, which is likely to be the case for any customers who may have had contact with the worker.
Fortunately, another worker who had contact with the affected employee has tested negative but continues to self-isolate in line with NSW Health Advice.
The store is currently undergoing a deep cleaning, alongside thorough daily cleaning at Stockland Baulkham Hills.
While Stocklands Baulkham Hills will remain open all visitors must adhere to NSW government health advice.
Other locations currently impacted are Carnes Hill Marketplace, Carlingford Court, Westfield Mount Druitt, Stockland Wetherill Park and Casula Mall.
