2019 Westies Premium Quarterly Market
Written by Kaushala Rajapakse on 11 May 2019
The Westies Markets has been a popular attraction amongst the locals in Western Sydney. Unlike previous years, The Westies Market has decided to go quarterly this year. That’s right. Four times the fun! With local produce, home-made fashion items, gourmet treats; with live music performances and activities for the kids. A whole family fun Sunday.
Katrina James is not only a photographer but also a ‘Sydney Westie’ who takes pride in her local community. A project Katrina started due to her passionate nature and ambition to lift the negative stigma from living in the western suburbs, has now turned into a not-for-profit organisation, The Westies. The beauty of these markets has made the West strike out on its own in the local Sydney suburbian arena.
So come along with your friends and family. Who knows what kind of treasures you may find in your local community. If you would like to hold a stall for the day, then please fill out an Application Form.
You can also help support Katrina in her endeavours by purchasing a calico tote bag for $10. For more information about the tote bag, the organisation or to participate in these markets, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit their Facebook Event Page.
The Westies Premium Quarterly Market will be held on Sunday, 19 May at the Nepean Creative and Performing Arts High School, Emu Plains.
