Sports Team Win At CBAA Awards

Congratulations to Alive 90.5’s Flagship Sports program, Sunday Sports Roundup program it took out the Troy Garner Excellence in Sports Programming award at the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) awards.

The Show can be heard each Sunday afternoon between 2 and 5pm to get your fix of the weekend’s sport be sure to tune in and find out the latest news, views and previews.

Members of the team were up on the Gold Coast over the this past weekend (10th and 11th), for the gala dinner where the team was up against a show from Regional Victoria and a program on Eastside Radio in Sydney.

The team won a stylish award along with a product voucher presented by one of the sponsors, Well done to Tony Salerno, Dave Mc Donald, Rod Staples, Adam Staples, Michael Allen, Shakti Gouden, Mitchell Farrugia and Harry Purcell on the award win.

This award is the stations second CBAA award, planet country was also awarded last year.
