Greater Cumberland Chamber of Commerce

The Merrylands Chamber of Commerce was formed in 2011, initially as the Holroyd Council’s CBD  Committee, but later became an independent entity called the Merrylands Chamber of Commerce. In 2021, with the closure of another chamber which serviced the Fairfield areas , the Chamber expanded their operations into Strathfield and Fairfield, making them The Chamber which services the largest area in Sydney.

The Chamber operates under 5 main tenets.

The Chamber is governed by a Board of Director which is elected from its members at the Annual General Meeting every year. The Chamber holds monthly events.

The Chamber is now an alliance partner with Business NSW and  The Chamber Alliance of Western Sydney (CAWS). Through these associations we are able to channel critical information and advocate for better policies for businesses.
