Judy Garland Tribute
Judy Garland was once described by Fred Astaire as “the greatest entertainer who ever lived”.
She attained international stardom throughout a career that spanned more than 40 years as an actress in musical and dramatic roles in film and on stage as well as on records.
At her funeral in June 1969, an estimated 20,000 people lined up for hours at the Manhattan funeral chapel to pay their respects.
Thankfully, her screen and record performances live on – long after her passing. May she rest in peace.
