People’s Choice Awards: Planet Country Win!

Congratulations to our resident country music presenters, Big Stu & MJ!
Their program Planet Country won the Australian Country Music People’s Choice Award for Most Popular Radio Station or Program.

In October last year, Australian country music fans had the opportunity to vote for their favourite artists, radio programs and radio presenters from 2016. Voting was open to anyone making the awards truly a people’s choice.

In December, the finalists were announced and our very own Planet Country radio show along with hosts Big Stu & MJ, were finalists in both the Most Popular Radio DJ category and the Most Popular Radio Station or Program category. In a gala night during the Tamworth Country Music Festival last month, Planet Country was announced as the winners of the later.

Planet Country, Big Stu and MJ had been finalists in both categories in 2016 as well.
