John Denver Tribute

John Denver was an American singer, songwriter, activist and humanitarian. His greatest success was as a solo singer, starting in the 1970’s. He recorded approx. 300 songs – about 200 of which he composed.

He normally performed with an acoustic guitar and sang about his joy in nature, his enthusiasm for music and his relationship trials.

He was wholesome and clean-cut, and his appeal extended to fans of all ages and backgrounds. His popularity led to careers both as an actor and a humanitarian.

His love of flying led to his death at the controls of an experimental plane on 12th October 1997.
