Labor has announced plans for a major NDIS overhaul ahead of the Federal Budget, with proposed reforms expected to save billions and reduce growth rate of the Scheme.

Speaking at yesterday’s National Press Club NDIS Minister, Mark Butler, said reforms will “make sure it is sustainable now – and for future generations.”

The proposal has seen wide-spread concern across the disability community – which anticipates thousands in funding cuts and the removal of 160,000 Australians from NDIS by 2030.
