James Taylor Tribute

James Taylor is an American singer/songwriter/guitarist who is a 5 time Grammy Award winner.

After starting his music career in the USA, he moved to London where Peter Asher, who was then head of The Beatles Apple Record label, organized some demo recordings.

Paul McCartney thought he was great and Taylor was ultimately signed to the Apple label.

He went on to marry fellow singer, Carly Simon in 1972 and they remained a couple until their divorce in 1983.

His current wife, Caroline, is director of PR and marketing for the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
