Interview with Catherine Elliss
Catherine Elliss, also known as Catherine J, is a Social Entrepreneur, Imagineer, Author, Speaker, Coach and Consultant.
She has a strong background in business and education in Australia and South East Asia, including but not limited to in the areas of business, economic and community development.
She is the Founder and CEO of the Social Enterprise, Imagineering 2 a Better World. She is also the author of Prosper as Your Soul Prospers: A Holistic Approach to Basic Money Management from a Soul & Spirit Perspective, aimed at older teens, younger adults and those in transition.
Another of her books, published in 2020, originally aimed at a similar age demographic, but which has proven to be twice as popular with the younger teenage group and even as young as ten years old, is The Man Who Came Back: Graphic Novel.
She has a new children’s book out very soon as part of her G2M Money Smarts Series, entitled Ais and The Midas Touch.
The underlying philosophy is based on her Values of: Vision for the Future; Character; Stewardship and Authenticity / Vulnerability. She is also the Founder of the podcast / video series, Women’s Wisdom Through the Ages, and Co-Founder with Hikairo Phillips of the video series, F7 Building Blocks 2 Freedom.
Catherine is passionate about city and national transformation and has numerous blog series on her website including ‘A Futurist’s Solution to…’ and ‘Social Enterprise Evolve for Cities and Their People to Thrive’.
Her vision is twofold:
1 Inspire and empower people to imagineer a better world for themselves;
2 To reduce world poverty starting with the individual.
She wholeheartedly believes that ‘We CAN change the world ONE day at a time, ONE person at a time, ONE decision at a time.’
Her mission is to teach then activate 1,000,000+ people in the concept of Strategic Social Enterprise, AKA the understanding of money as a tool, that is profit with purpose.
