A range of eclectic acts are set to hit the stage as part of the Pioneer Theatre’s 2020 show season.

Kicking off the year on 6 March is English comedy play, The Siddhus of Upper Juhu, set in the bustling Indian city of Mumbai.

Blackout Theatre Company also returns to the Pioneer Theatre stage with musicals, We Will Rock You, based on songs from iconic rock band, Queen and crowd favourite,The Boy from Oz, later in the year.

Gilroy Catholic College has also chosen the Castle Hill based theatre as their venue for their production of the 1970s cult classic, Grease, and the Governor Macquarie Memorial Pipe Band will also have audiences tapping along to their songs during their concert, A Celtic Affair.

Mayor of the Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne encourages theatregoers and producers alike to consider Pioneer Theatre for their theatre needs.

“Whether you’d like to watch one of the fantastic shows lined-up or if you’re looking to produce a show this year, Pioneer Theatre is the perfect venue,” Mayor Byrne said.

“The theatre is a cultural asset in the Hills Shire and is a highly versatile space that is close to public transport and local eateries,” Mayor Byrne added.

Pioneer Theatre offers multiple seating configurations to suit a range of audience sizes, as well as contacts for approved technical service providers to assist with audio visual and technical event production.
